F l i g h t 9 3 M e m o r i a l D e s i g n C o m p e t i t i o n
The design competition entry consists of a road from the park entry to the flight 93 crash site. Along the road stand in large three-dimensional metal letters the words of the crew, the passengers, the controllers and the hijackers from the moment of hijacking until the plane is down. At the crash site a sculpture of mist forms a perpetual cloud around the perimiter of the sacred ground.
