Program:
Design a 14'x40' two-lane lap pool on an existing front yard between an 80' portal and
the east property lite.
Project: The rectangular site slopes to the east along its short axis. Situate the pool along the east side setback with the pool wall developing into the yard wall screening the adjacent neighbor's house. A pophyry stone deck bounds the water on the other three sides. Between pool deck and portal, a swath of turfblock planted with aromatic thyme separates recreation from leisure. Tufts of tall grasses partially screen the pool.
